By: Madison Migiano Stella Quadrato, a junior here at WHS, was chosen by the English Department as Student of the Month. Stella feels very proud to have accomplished getting Student of the Month and she believes that she was chosen for this because she's been working hard and has been participating often in class. She is enjoying her current English course saying, “Mrs. Cybart is a great teacher!” Her favorite English class was English II with Ms. Auclair because she liked the books that they read in class.
Advice Stella would give to other students is, “always do your best in all your classes, take pride in your work, and participate in class as much as possible.” One of her favorite books is called Perfect Strangers by Roseann Sdoia. She read it over the summer for an assignment and says it was interesting and an enjoyable read for her. Outside of school, she plays field hockey as an extracurricular activity, and she enjoys spending time with her friends and family for fun. Stella’s plans after high school include going to college for either nursing or teaching. Congrats to Stella who works very hard in school and her hard work really paid off!
