By: Anjeza Skudrinja Klaus Nuzi is December’s Sophomore Student of The Month for the English Department. He says he was very excited to be awarded such a prestigious award, and believes it is good to be recognized for hard work. He states “English classwork is elaborate and I put in a lot of effort.” Klaus also adds that getting work in on time and putting in as much effort as possible is how he maintains good grades. Klaus favorite subject in school is math. “It is because it is routed in intuition and logic.”
Outside of school, Klaus is involved in Robotics, Model UN, Debate Club, and will join tennis this upcoming season. For Klaus, high school has been an engaging and fun experience. After high school, he would like to pursue a major in STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and math]. Klaus’s advice for students is to, “Put in the effort and be active in class.”
